Kansas : Administration

Kansas is ranked 33rd among the 50 states of U.S and in located in the Midwestern region of United States. Kansas was admitted to the United States Union in 1861 as the 34th state. The Governor and the Lieutenant Governor are the top most executives of the state. Both are elected in the same ticket. The legislative branch of Kansas is the Kansas legislature and is a bicameral body consisting of 25 Senators and 125 House of Representatives both serving for a two-year term. The judicial branch of the Kansas is headed by the supreme court of Kansas. The court has seven judges elected by the Missouri plan.
