Olathe



Olathe is the fifth largest city in the state. It is located in Johnson County, 20 miles southwest of downtown Kansas City. It is bordered by the cities of Lenexa to the north and Overland Park to the east. The city is known as “Cowboy Boot Capital".

Temperartures in Olathe range from an average low below 20°F in January to an average high of nearly 90°F in July. May and June receive the largest share of precipitation. Winter snowfall averages about 17 inches in a year.
