Lawrence : Kansas

Lawrence is located in Northeast Kansas, just 45 minutes west of Kansas City, and 30 minutes east of Topeka, the state capital. The community was named after philanthropist and outspoken opponent of slavery, Amos A. Lawrence.

Lawrence is listed 15th in John Villani's, “ The 100 Best Small Art Towns In America.”
